UONE is designed to support evidence review while keeping responsibility with the authorized organization and user.
- Purpose limitation. Process submitted records only for a documented, approved business purpose.
- Data minimization. Submit only reliable information needed for the authorized review; do not guess missing details.
- Evidence transparency. Findings should be accompanied by enough source context for an authorized user to assess them.
- Human accountability. UONE supports professional review and does not make legal, identity, credit, employment or enforcement decisions.
- Honest limitations. Public information can be incomplete, stale or ambiguous; no fixed success rate is promised.
Security
Controls focus on authorized access, protected sessions, controlled administration and auditable review operations.
- Access control. Accounts, roles and protected administrative actions restrict who can access sensitive functions.
- Session protection. Authentication and session controls are intended to limit unauthorized reuse of credentials and active sessions.
- Protected operations. Workspace and Admin actions require online authenticated access; API and review operations are not designed for offline execution.
- Auditability. Important account, review, export and administrative events are recorded for investigation and reconciliation.
- Operational safeguards. Provider, Queue, database and administrative controls are monitored and verified as part of production operation.
Data handling
Submitted data is handled for the requested service purpose and should not be reused casually for unrelated activity.
- Client organizations remain responsible for having authority and an appropriate legal basis for submitted records.
- Users should protect review information and exported files according to their organization’s policies.
- Only information necessary for support or investigation should be shared with UONE support.
- Privacy, retention and storage details are described in the formal Privacy Policy and Cookie & Storage Notice.
Shared responsibility
UONE provides technical safeguards; clients remain responsible for lawful use and professional judgment.
- Use evidence and confidence information together rather than relying on a single field.
- Do not use UONE outputs as the sole basis for significant decisions.
- Protect credentials and report suspected misuse or security concerns promptly.
- Follow the Acceptable Use Policy and applicable organizational procedures.
